When you contact us
The contact and policy-suggestion forms ask for your name, email address, topic and message. Your phone number and suburb are optional. The campaign uses this information to consider your enquiry, respond and manage correspondence. Sending a message does not subscribe you to campaign updates.
Include only what we need to understand the issue. Please do not send identity documents, medical records or other sensitive information, or private details about someone else, through this form.
How messages are handled
Form submissions are emailed to the campaign at media@deangelis.com.au. Contact Form 7 does not keep a separate submissions database on this site. Copies of messages and replies remain in the campaign email system. The hosting and email providers process information needed to operate the site and deliver correspondence.
The hosting service may record technical information, including IP addresses and request details, for operation and security. This form does not add advertising tracking, a mailing-list signup or an external CAPTCHA service.
When you ask for campaign updates
The separate homepage sign-up asks for your email address. Choosing Join IN on that form requests campaign updates by email. The request is sent to the campaign inbox and handled there; this site does not currently maintain an automated subscriber database.
You can stop updates by replying to an update or emailing media@deangelis.com.au. The campaign will remove your address from its update recipients. Using the ordinary contact form does not opt you into updates.
When you donate
Donations are paid through Stripe’s hosted checkout. Your card details are entered on Stripe, not in a form on this website. Stripe processes payment information under its privacy policy, including processing that may occur outside Australia.
The campaign receives donation records, including your name, email, billing address, donation date and amount, and payment reference. These are used to reconcile payments, provide receipts, check donation limits and eligibility, and meet electoral record and disclosure obligations. Donating does not subscribe you to campaign updates.
Donation evidence must be retained for at least four years. Information required by electoral law may be disclosed to the Victorian Electoral Commission and published through VEC Disclosures. Full addresses are not published; suburb and state ordinarily are, with separate protections for silent electors. A deletion request cannot override records that must legally be retained.
