Victorian Government Contracts

Who holds the contract? What is its listed value? When does it end? Search the records, then open the official entry and check the detail.

Matthew De Angelis, Sydenham · Snapshot: 9 October 2026 · Version 1.0

668 register records, each listed at $10 million or more. Values may cover years, panels or multiple projects. They are not annual spending or company profit. Different valuation bases and overlapping records make a combined dollar total misleading.

How this was made

The starting point is a Tenders VIC extract selected as current on 9 October 2026. Council procurement and values below $10 million are outside scope. This is a snapshot of the supplied records, not a guarantee that every qualifying contract is captured.

A correction before publication: the original extraction missed supplier entries under the register’s “Unregistered Suppliers” section. We checked all 183 blank or externally added supplier entries: 176 contained names, six pointed to attached lists or multiple providers, and one had no supplier section captured. Missing data in an extract is not proof of missing disclosure.

The remaining 485 supplier entries are carried over from the original extract and labelled accordingly. Profit, service and “cuff” scores have been removed. Categories are editorial groupings; the change log records the corrections.

Snapshot
9 October 2026. Publication version 1.0.
Included
668 records in the supplied Tenders VIC extract, each with a listed value of at least $10 million and selected as Current in that extract. This is not a claim that every qualifying Victorian contract has been captured.
Excluded
Council procurement and records below $10 million are outside the intended register scope. Concessions and licences are a separate source index, not added to the register figures.
What a row means
A register record, not necessarily a single contract, supplier or project. Panels, bundled works and related or duplicated records remain visible.
Values
Values are in Australian dollars, millions, as supplied. They can be estimates, whole-of-term amounts or different valuation bases, including net present cost. GST treatment may differ. No combined dollar total is published. Values are not annual spending, profit, cash paid or money still owed.
Dates and status
Current describes selection in the supplied register extract. It does not prove current delivery. Missing dates and implausible years are flagged, not invented or silently corrected.
Supplier checks
All 183 records with a blank or externally added supplier were re-read on the official register. 176 yielded named supplier entries; six referred to attached lists or multiple providers; one had no supplier section captured. The other 485 supplier fields were retained from the original extract, not independently rechecked in this pass.
Unregistered suppliers
Unregistered Suppliers is the register section label. It does not mean the business is unlawful, unlicensed or unregistered with ASIC.
Public-reporting additions
Eight supplier labels in the original workbook were added from public reporting. This version replaces them with the official register supplier entries found during the check. Original labels and corrections are preserved in Changes. Operators, parents and consortium members are not automatically the legal counterparty.
Categories
Editorial groupings, not government classifications. Clear keyword misfits were corrected by reading the title and supplied description; broad categories were renamed to reflect their actual scope. Each changed assignment is logged.
Concessions
The separate index preserves all 12 original reference links for further checking. Its sources include official releases, public reporting and secondary references. Unverified prices, ownership claims and commentary are not presented as confirmed current facts.
Removed from public release
Profit, service and cuff scores, score-based rankings/watchlists, internal scan coverage, unsupported commentary and aggregate totals mixing unlike values. No inference of misconduct, poor service or excessive profit follows from inclusion.

Concessions and licences: separate source index

These 12 references are retained for further checking. They are not included in the 668 records or added to their values. Prices, ownership and terms from these references have not been independently revalidated for this release.
